Art Benjamin is a cool guy. I took a class from him when I was as freshman at Harvey Mudd College, so I got to see him do some spiffy things in class.

Hi,
I was not much surprised at all when I saw this, since I already was aware of the fact that there are people with these calculation skills. I was though impressed how quickly Benjamin was able to answer every question he was asked during his performance, without even failing a single one of them. I'm asking myself: "Why didn't I have a mathematics education more similar to mathemagics?" and "Why is our education system like this?". It's seems to me that mathemagic might be the key to make maths more intuitive and pleasant to everybody, especially students who dislike this subject.
