Cheaper, cheaper,cheaper. I doubt that (other than a few tycoons) there are very many people out there that LOVE gasoline, and wish there was more smog. And on the organic food thing: it's expensive because it's a huge pain to mass produce organic food. I guess we could say everything has got to be produced a certain way across the planet, but I am not so sure how a lot of people I know would get dinner if that were the case. Pining for a better time equals a big fat silver spoon. It needs to be cheaper. Cheaper, cheaper,cheaper. There seems to be a cultural component that manufactured the demand for organic food (maybe it's just the natural desire to not get Cancer) Perhaps we value what we put into our bodies more than the energy that we use or the cheap walmart goods that we buy.
